The Monarchy is teetering on the brink. The Royal Wedding promises to be a tipping point, possibly fatal for the entire regime. Revolution typically begins with a crisis inside the state. The Queen obliged recently when she made a terrible mistake. She awarded ‘the highest possible honour’ to her son, Prince Andrew – investing this odious figure with the ‘Knight Grand Cross of the Royal Victorian Order’ (illustrated above).
To loyal subjects across the country, many having risked their lives in one or another politicians’ war in Iraq or Afghanistan, this crass act of royal nepotism evidently proved the last straw. Incensed readers of the Daily Mail (of all papers!) are now leading the republican charge.
